  Braniffs moved to Burnaby when grandpa Boyd died. Grandpa Boyd hadleft his house to Edith. The family later moved back to the Piapot region. Edith did not marry Vanderport, Frances was born out of wedlock; shenever talked about her biological father until briefly mentioning himduring her last few years. Chronicling America newspaper website shows pages from Jamestown Weekly. July 19 page 8 "are rejoicing over a little daughter."
